Another experiment involved placing leaves in slide mounts and projecting them using an old projector found in the Brookes School of Arts. To my surprise, the visual quality was excellent, allowing clear viewing of the images printed on the leaves from a distance. Up close, one could observe numerous leaf details such as veins, colours, and transparencies – two images contained in one.
Unfortunately, my project already had many elements to exhibit, and using the projector required complete darkness in the room. In the final days, I found a simple solution: a small home-use projector, which added intimacy while maintaining high visual quality.
